About Our Creativity Club in Jeffreys Bay
At Art Muse Collective, we take a unique approach to creativity that sets us apart from traditional art workshops. While many workshops focus on teaching specific art techniques and producing a finished product, our goal is to guide members on a deeper, more personal creative journey.
Here, the emphasis is on connection—connecting to your innate creativity and the process of creating, rather than focusing on the outcome or crafting a finished piece. We believe creativity is a natural part of every individual, and our Creativity Club sessions are designed to help you unlock and nurture that creative flow.
Each session begins with an intuitive creativity exercise, helping you clear any mental blocks and open yourself to fresh ideas. After that, the theme for the day is explored with the selected art medium, chosen not to perfect your technical skills, but to encourage experimentation and self-expression. The creative process becomes a journey in itself, allowing members to explore and develop their own personal narratives.
In addition to the hands-on exploration of different materials, we incorporate external stimuli such as music, nature, and other sensory assets. These elements serve to spark inspiration and provoke new ideas, helping you deepen your emotional connection to the work you’re creating. Instead of focusing on achieving a particular aesthetic or end product, we encourage you to embrace the process and allow your creativity to flow without pressure.
The Creativity Club creates a safe, non-judgemental space where the focus is on personal expression, introspection, and creative exploration, making it an ideal environment for individuals looking to break free from the rigidity of traditional art classes and enjoy the freedom of creating without the constraints of expectations.
The Creativity Club was founded by Sarina Engelbrecht, a professional visual artist with a background in photography, film, and business development. With a BA in Psychology, she is deeply fascinated by the intersection of creativity, human behaviour, and spirituality. Sarina believes that the act of creating is not just about making art but about self-discovery, problem-solving, and personal growth.
Disclaimer
While our sessions can be deeply therapeutic and enriching, Art Muse Collective does not offer art therapy in a clinical or psychological setting. Our focus is on creative exploration and personal expression, rather than structured therapeutic intervention.
Who will Benefit from the Creativity Club?
The Creativity Club is for anyone looking to reconnect with their creativity, whether you’re feeling creatively stuck, searching for inspiration, or simply wanting to explore artistic expression in a new way. It is ideal for:
Artists & Creatives – If you’re experiencing a creative block in your own work, stepping away and exploring different mediums can offer breakthroughs and clarity. This space allows you to return to your art with fresh energy and new perspectives.
Professionals & Entrepreneurs – Creativity isn’t just for artists. Many of life’s biggest “aha” moments happen when we’re engaged in creative play. If you need a mental reset or a new way of thinking, these sessions help you unlock ideas, solve problems, and spark fresh insights.
Moms, Caregivers & Homemakers – Finding time for yourself can be difficult, but nurturing your creative side is essential. This is a space where you can step away from daily responsibilities and reconnect with YOU through art and self-expression.
Anyone Seeking Mental Clarity & Self-Discovery – Art has the power to reveal what words cannot. By focusing on creative play rather than a finished product, these sessions can help you gain insights into your emotions, personal journey, and next steps in life.
Nature & Spirituality Enthusiasts – Each month’s theme is designed to integrate intuition, nature, and storytelling, helping you create from a deeply personal and inspired place.
No matter your experience level, the Creativity Club provides a safe, inspiring space to let go, explore, and return to your creative practice (or life) with a renewed sense of purpose and direction.

The Magic of Trees
Trees are symbols of strength, grounding, and growth. They remind us of the interconnectedness of life—rooted in the earth yet always reaching for the sky. This month, we will explore trees through different artistic lenses, using various mediums to express their spirit, movement, and symbolism. Each week, we will embrace a new way of connecting with nature and creativity
