Cyanotype, also known as sun printing, is an ancient photographic process that uses light-sensitive chemicals and sunlight to create striking blue-and-white prints. This workshop is perfect for art enthusiasts, nature lovers, and anyone curious about exploring a unique creative medium.

What to Expect:

During this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the history of cyanotype and how it connects art with the natural world. Sarina will guide you through:

1. Preparation

Preparing light-sensitive paper using non-toxic chemicals: ferric ammonium citrate and potassium ferricyanide.

2. Composition

Arranging natural objects such as leaves, flowers, or other materials to create intricate designs.

3. Sun Printing

Exposing your creations to sunlight and UV Light Box to develop vivid, cyan blue prints.

3. Rinsing & Drying

Rinsing and drying your work for a final masterpiece.
